Indistinto – Usability Audit & Redesign Strategy

Challenge

After the initial build of Indistinto’s website, I was brought on as a UX/UI Designer to conduct a full usability audit. The goal was clear: uncover friction points, provide actionable recommendations, and align the site’s content and visual language with the brand’s audience and identity.

Process

I started with a heuristic evaluation, which revealed issues in navigation patterns, layout responsiveness, visual hierarchy, typography, and multilingual clarity. From there, I created a design strategy that separated quick fixes from long-term enhancements, ensuring a realistic roadmap for improvement.

The next step was prototyping. I redesigned key screens to reduce cognitive load and make navigation more predictable. In the UI design phase, I refined typography, color, and iconography to not only look consistent but also feel natural for the target audience.

To validate the work, we ran user testing, which confirmed that the redesign solved major usability issues and highlighted opportunities for refinement.

As an external consultant, I provided ongoing implementation support, while final decisions were taken by the product leads. Not all suggestions were applied, but the audit established a solid foundation for continuous improvement.nt.
